About Michael Rolfing, DDS
Dr. Rolfing was born and raised in Long Beach, California. He attended Millikan High School where he graduated with a 4.0 GPA. From there he went to college at Long Beach City College and California State University at Long Beach where he again graduated with a 4.0 GPA and received a B.A. degree in Mathematics. He then worked for Rachel laboratories in Long Beach as a chemist and attended college part time. During this time, he applied to dental school. While waiting to hear about his dental school application, he was offered a position at Boeing and left Rachel Laboratories and worked for Boeing as a Low Altitude defense engineer, working on the MX missile project. Upon hearing he was accepted to several dental schools he resigned his position at Boeing. He attended the University of the Pacific dental school in San Francisco where he was accepted into an accelerated three-year program. After graduating from dental school in 1983 he worked for one year in a dental group practice in Susanville, California. In 1984 he took over the dental practice of Dr. Edmond Conlon in Covina, California and has been practicing here ever since.
