About Michael Perez, DMD
Dr. Perez was born and raised in northern New Jersey. The son of Cuban and Puerto Rican immigrants, he graduated from Seton Hall University with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1986. He began his dental training later that year and graduated from the prestigious Tufts School of Dental Medicine in 1991. He completed a post doctorate general practice residency at J.F.K. Medical center in Edison, NJ in 1992 where he further honed his skills in general dentistry and oral surgery. After practicing in New Jersey for a year, Dr. Perez moved to Orlando and later to Miami, Florida where he has been practicing for over 20 years. He has completed hundreds of hours in continuing education at institutions such as L.V.I., The United States Dental Institute for Orthodontics, and the Center for Occlusal Studies in Parkersburg, West Virginia. As a result of his diverse training in various aspects of dentistry, Dr. Perez has acquired a devoted following of patients ranging in ages from toddlers to seniors. They enjoy his warm and comforting demeanor in an equally relaxed yet modern environment, receiving treatment ranging from simple to complex cosmetic and reconstructive cases involving restorative and orthodontic dentistry. Moreover, in the last few years, he has added facial rejuvenation to his treatments with the use of Botox, Dysport and Juvederm which can remove years of aging in just one visit.
