Plastic Surgery of the Face and Body was founded on November 1st, 2011 by Dr. Michael Nagy. Previously with the Personal Enhancement Center, Toms River, New Jersey, Dr. Nagy’s office is now located in Wall Twp., New Jersey. This location allows him to continue serving his large Toms River, New Jersey patient base as well as offering access to Jackson, NJ, Howell, NJ, Freehold, NJ, Colts Neck, NJ, and all other Monmouth County locations. Through plastic surgery, Dr. Nagy aims to create a natural, beautiful result for each unique patient while emphasizing patient health and safety, individualized treatment options, and patient education. He is one of the areas’ premier plastic surgeons, and exudes not only a knowledge and skill of surgical excellence, but a caring and compassion for his patients unparalleled by other surgeons. Along with his surgical skill, Dr. Nagy takes pride in being involved in every step of the surgical process. He resides locally in Monmouth County with his wife and two daughters. With over 10 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Nagy is highly skilled in all aspects of plastic surgery. With over 200 breast surgeries annually, including breast reconstruction, augmentation and reduction, Dr. Nagy has become one of the most well-respected plastic surgeons in the area providing exceptional outcomes to his patients. Other surgical specialties include blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, male breast reduction, facelift, browlift, liposuction, arm and thigh lifts, tummy tucks (abdominoplasty), labiaplasty, fat grafting and chin augmentation. Dr. Nagy is also highly skilled in Mohs reconstruction and complex excisions of lesions to minimize the appearance of scars, especially on the face or other areas of exposed skin. Non-invasive procedures are also a large part of the practice. Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Nagy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He earned his doctorate at the University of Cincinnati Medical College. After completing a five-year general surgery residency at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Nagy, a Monsignor Donovan H.S. alumnus, returned to the shore area to practice as a general surgeon. He pursued additional training after two years in practice and was accepted into a Fellowship specializing in cosmetic and breast surgery with an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Nagy maintains membership in some of the most prestigious professional organizations for plastic surgeons including Diplomat, American Board of Plastic Surgery, and member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He shares his knowledge and perspective on several medical committees and has authored publications and textbook chapters pertaining to plastic surgery.
