Dr. Michael Markou, D.O., is the Founder and Medical Director at Tampa Bay Hair Restoration in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Markou is a licensed and certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who specializes in Cellular Regenerative Medicine, Hair Restoration Surgery, and Family Medicine. He provides medical hair loss management for both men and women located all throughout the United States. Dr. Markou is also a member of the American Medical Association (AMA), Executive Committee and Board of Trustees Member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), Florida Delegate of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), Member of the Pinellas County Osteopathic Medical Society (PCOMS), Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP), has been an active member of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) for almost 25 years, and more! He took part in Merck Pharmaceutical Studies on the only FDA-approved hair loss medication, and also published the first research article on Low-Level Laser Hair Restoration.
