About Michael W. Gray, DO
As a cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Gray specializes in total body aesthetic surgery. He is a leading surgeon in many forms of cosmetic surgery. Unlike other surgeons, Dr. Michael W. Gray has been described as the renaissance doctor and possesses the skill and expertise in performing all forms of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Gray has been described as “the most talented surgeon ever seen.” Like a modern-day Michaelangelo, his skills as an artist and sculptor remains unsurpassed. Dr. Gray has extensive experience in breast augmentation (whether scarless or traditional), External Ultrasonic Assisted Liposuction as well as Smart Lipo MPX, face lifts, neck lifts, eye lifts, tummy tucks, and laser resurfacing to name a few. Dr. Gray received the prestigious Presidential Scholarship to attend the University of Miami, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1984. He earned a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Southeastern University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida. His residency was at Midwestern University – Chicago Osteopathic Medical Centers where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Gray completed his cosmetic surgery fellowship there specializing in Total Body Aesthetic Surgery accredited through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, as well as a Fellowship from the Maxillofacial Surgery Department of Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Chicago. Dr. Gray has been a guest speaker and instructor to the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery – Live Surgery Workshop on Breast Augmentation and Mastopexy, Northwestern University Dental School, to name a few. In 2000, Dr. Gray was asked to lecture before the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Recently Dr. Gray’s input was requested at the National Forum of Breast Implants, where he was one of ten panelists discussing the future of breast implants. He has published numerous articles and contributed much to the field of surgery. Dr. Gray is a member of The American Academy Cosmetic Surgery, The American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, The American Osteopathic Association and the Michigan Osteopathic Medical Association and also here.
