About Michael J. Conn, MD
Michael J. Conn, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in northern New Jersey, with offices located in Teaneck and Pompton Lakes. He grew up in northern New Jersey, and he has been in private practice here for over fifteen years. He is double board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, and he is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. In his thriving practice, Dr. Conn provides state-of-the-art plastic surgical care with a personable approach. He specializes in a broad array of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures, with a particular interest and talent in facial aesthetic surgery and breast and body contouring. In addition, Dr. Conn has developed an outstanding reputation as an expert in breast reconstruction for those women who have undergone breast cancer treatments. Dr. Conn graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science degree, and he went on to receive his Medical Degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After eight years in Washington, D.C., Dr. Conn moved to New York City to continue his medical training. He completed a full five-year general surgery residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year. He was then accepted into the prestigious Columbia University Plastic Surgery Program, where he received training from world-renowned surgeons. He was chosen to be the Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in the final year of his residency. It is important to give back to the community, and Dr. Conn is involved in numerous medical charitable activities. He staffs local free clinics to treat patients with plastic surgical problems, and he has performed many surgeries through the charitable organization, Healing The Children. In addition, every year in October, Dr. Conn travels to Haiti to participate in a surgical mission at the Hopital Sacre Coeur. With his superior surgical skills and impeccable credentials, Dr. Conn is able to meet the needs of his plastic surgical patients.
