About Michael P. Cimino, DDS

I love being a dentist because it enables me to serve others. Dentistry combines science and art while allowing me to work with my hands, and as I meet one-on-one with each person, I develop relationships with them. Every patient I care for comes to me with a unique set of challenges and requirements. I must look at their overall health, as well as their teeth and gums to determine what is happening and why, and decide how best to approach correcting the issues. I earned my undergraduate degree at Louisiana Tech University and went on to attend Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I understood, even while at the university, that oral healthcare is a field that demands constant learning and expanding one’s skills. There are always new technologies being developed, new treatment methodologies being crafted, and new approaches to patient care and the patient experience being explored. I am committed to providing the best care to my patients, every single visit, and I can only do that by staying at the leading edge of dental knowledge. In addition to belonging to the Spear Study Club of The Woodlands, I have taken continuing education courses through the Misch International Implant Institute and the Dawson Academy. I also attend dental lectures, seminars, and meetings regularly to remain current with the latest technology. I am a graduate of the Progressive Orthodontics Program, which provides comprehensive training in leading orthodontic practices and technology to provide quality treatment to my patients. I also take seminars regularly to keep my knowledge of orthodontics up to date. My team and I are most passionate about transforming lives with the concept of Complete Dentistry! When I’m not working, you’ll often find me spending time with my wife, Ileana, traveling to new places and discovering delicious wines. I also enjoy working out and keeping fit. Oh, and while I’m a native of Shreveport, LA, I’m a die-hard fan of the Chicago Cubs and try to make it to a game at Wrigley Field at least once a year.
