About Melissa Novetsky, DDS

Dr. Melissa Novetsky grew up with a passion and excitement for dentistry. She was inspired at a young age to become a dentist after watching and learning about the field from her father, Dr. Fred Fischer. She strives to provide her patients with the highest quality, state of the art dentistry with a gentle touch in a relaxed atmosphere. Dr. Novetsky treats each patient as she would her own family. She takes great pride in caring for the dental health of her neighbors and community. Dr. Novetsky earned her Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Michigan State University and then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2006. She has diligently stayed up to date in her postgraduate training on the newest advances and techniques, including those in Fastbraces, Clear Aligner Orthodontics, and Cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Novetsky was named “Top Dentist of the Year” in Hour Detroit Magazine and has also been awarded “America’s Top Dentists” and “America’s Best Dentists” year after year. It’s clear to her patients that she truly cares about their dental health. With her help, Fischer Family Dentistry has stayed on the cutting edge of dental technology, and her commitment to comfortable treatment has brought many loyal patients over the years. Dr. Novetsky and her husband, Eric, are proud parents to their daughters Lily and Emma. They enjoy family activities like bicycle riding and going on road trips. Dr. Novetsky loves music and as an alumni of Michigan State University, she’s also a huge Spartan fan. Go Green!
