About Melissa A. Bogle, MD
Dr. Melissa A. Bogle received her Bachelor of Science degree from Stanford University and completed medical school and residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She went on to receive advanced fellowship training in cosmetic and laser surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, MA. Dr. Bogle is a clinical assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and director of the Laser and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Houston where she performs laser surgery, cosmetic surgery and general dermatology. She is past President of the Houston Dermatological Society. Dr. Bogle has been the principle author on numerous articles and book chapters and has lectured both nationally and internationally regarding her research on lasers and cosmetic procedures. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Lasers in Medicine and Surgery, Texas Dermatologic Society and American Academy of Dermatology. As an expert in lasers and cosmetic surgery, Dr. Bogle has taught as faculty at the Art and Science of Dermal Fillers Course from the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, sharing her techniques with leading peers in the field, and has taught as faculty on the Laser Treatment of Vascular Lesions Course of the American Society of Lasers in Medicine and Surgery. She also serves as an expert injector to train other physicians in the use of dermal fillers and cosmetic injectable treatments. In addition to teaching, she has been a member of the Standards of Training Committee of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery as well as the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Reputation Task Force. She is an elected member of the Harris County Medical Society’s Board of Ethics, is a past member of the Harris County Medical Society's Public Grievance Committee, and has served on the editorial board of Healthy Aging magazine. Dr. Bogle has been selected by H Magazine as one of Houston’s Top Doctors, Top Professionals on the Fast Track, and Top Doctors for Kids.
