Hello, I am Melanie. I own and operate Melanie's Esthetics Day Spa. I am a licensed skin care professional (Aesthetician) specializing in treatments for anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, acne, rosacea, and dehydrated skin, and more. Like most people, I love beauty and there is nothing more beautiful than smooth and healthy skin. I began inquiring about skin conditions and treatments when I developed acne as a teenager. Neither my parents nor other family members had skin conditions or acne problems, so I had not inherited this. It was a really bad experience in my young life since I had a beautiful and immaculate complexion until I hit puberty. I know what it feels like to have a skin condition; I missed parties, birthdays and family reunions more than once because of my acne problem. I felt like I didn't want anybody to see me. I thought no one was going to like me. I felt embarrassed about the way my face looked. It is a fact that a skin condition is not just a cosmetic issue. It can also massively affect your self-esteem, more over it can have a huge impact on our psychological health. As I grew older, my skin improved a lot. I spent my 20's pretty relaxed about my skin and I thought the nightmare was over. When I reach my 30's, however, my skin totally changed and I began to get some pimples, and blackheads here and there. I was afraid that I had begun to redevelop the skin problem I had when I was a teenager. I realized that something had to be done about my skin problem. As I told you before, I began to inquire about skin condictions and treatments at a very young age because of my acne problem. I found the way to manage the situation and keep my skin healthy and beautiful. and I wasn't willing to quit to my beautiful skin, and I wasn't ready to face the wolrd without my confident and self-steem. I decided to do something on my own so I went to a skincare professional institute to study skin problems and how to deal with them in a professional way, so I can be able to use all my knowledge and my experience as a professional skin care. My goal was to finally get healthy and beautiful skin, to improve my appearance and keep my confidence, and at the same time been able to share my knowledgeand experience helping others with the same or similar needs and frustrations. To my surprise, I found there are so many things that it can be done to help the skin to become healthy and beautiful. There is so much information that I can now use for myself and clients to improve skin appearance and condition. I love what I do, my passion is my work. It is really rewarding to help others to go through life with confidence, and see their happy faces, and how the improvement of their skin has changed their life.
