About Mehra Pouyan, DDS
Dr. Pouyan received his bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from UCLA. He went on to receive Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the prestigious New York University School of Dentistry where he finished a two-year Faculty Practice Honors Program.He then completed a residency at Columbia University and St. Luke’s Hospital (NYC) with focus on dentistry under general anesthesia on adults, children, medically compromised and disabled patients. He followed that with another residency program at the Veterans Hospital in Sepulveda, CA where he served as chief resident with emphasis on root canals, oral surgery and implant procedures.
