About Meera Mahajan, DDS
Dr. Meera Mahajan has over 25 years of clinical experience and teaching experience. Having been raised in a family of numerous medical and dental professionals, she was drawn to dentistry as a child. As she approached graduation from Loyola Dental School, she realized that she wanted to continue to advance her education and specialize in Prosthodontics, earning a masters degree. Dr. Mahajan enjoys all facets of dentistry for all ages. Her most valuable reward is improving smiles! While managing her own practice for over 25 years, she has continued to commit myself to education. Since 1975, Dr. Mahajan has been an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois specializing in restorative and prosthodontic dentistry. Attending the prestigious LVI Institute, she was additionally awarded an advanced certificate in Anterior Aesthetics. Seeing her former and currents students become successful is one of her greatest rewards! In memory and honor of her late husband and a board member, she has established a scholarship for architectural students at the University of Illinois. Dr. Mahajan is an avid patron of the Performing Arts and travel along with an infinite passion and commitment to community outreach programs.
