About Matthew R. Strepka, DDS
Dr. Matthew Strepka grew up in New Hampshire and slowly but surely worked his way down to Texas. He graduated from Baylor University in 2001 prior to entering dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. Dr. Strepka is an Invisalign Preferred Provider and is the immediate Past President for the Houston Academy of General Dentistry– an organization focused on a lifelong commitment to continuing education in dentistry. Dr. Strepka is certified in Level 3 sedation, advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support and pediatric and adult protective stabilization. Dr. Strepka has earned his fellowship award in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor bestowed on less than 7 percent of dentists! This fellowship is awarded for completing more than 500 hours of continuing education and passing a rigorous exam. He is married to Dr. Judy Chang-Strepka and they have a three year old son and a newborn daughter. His interests include sports, gardening, automobiles, music and of course, dentistry. He started Sandalwood Dental in 2006 with some of the same staff you see in the office today.
