About Mary B. Stevens, DDS
Dr. Stevens is a native of Sturgis, Michigan. She graduated from Albion College in 1977. She followed her father's career into dentistry, graduating from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1981, with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. She moved to Grand Rapids with her husband, Todd, where he started his career in Internal Medicine. She started her own practice in 1982 on Leonard St. NW. In 1992, she moved her practice to the current location on Nixon NW, in Walker. She has two sons, Marshall and Kevin. Marshall is an Equine Veternarian currently practicing in northwest Chicago. Kevin has joined the practice in 2013, making him a third generation dentist. When you visit this dental office, unlike others, you actually spend time with the dentist. Following the tradition of Dr Stevens' father, she and Dr. Kevin still ""clean"" your teeth. This allows them to personalize your treatment and get to know you as a person. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association ,and the West Michigan Dental Society. Her outside interests are equestrian sports and gardening. If she is not at the office she is either mowing or riding.
