About Marvi Iqbal
Marvi Iqbal, MD, MPH is a Board Certified Dermatologist practicing in La Palma. She grew up in La Palma and thinks it is a pleasure and privilege to be able to return home and provide excellent skin care to the patients in this area. She went to high school in Fullerton at Sunny Hills and went on to complete her Undergraduate studies at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with honors. She attended medical school at UCLA where she graduated AOA with honors. During medical school she completed a Masters in Public Health at Harvard University. After completion of her formal education, Dr. Iqbal completed a medical internship at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and a Dermatology Residency at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Marvi Iqbal is Certified by the American Board of Dermatology. During her education she was involved in various clinical studies ranging from melanoma to keloids. She has published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and has contributed to chapters in dermatology textbooks. Dr. Iqbal has also given many presentations to professional groups including the Los Angeles County Dermatology Society and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
