About Mark R. Koenen, DDS
Dr. Mark Koenen has lived in the Bay Area nearly all his life, growing up in Cupertino. He studied Biology at the University of Santa Clara, then graduated in 1988 from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he received an award for outstanding achievement from the Endodontic Department. Mark graduated with honors (Tau Kappa Omega) and is a member of the Dental Honor Society. Dr. Koenen is an active member of the Contra Consta County Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the California Dental Associations. In addition, he is an active member of dental study clubs. Dr. Koenen feels a professional education never ends. In his spare time, Mark enjoys the outdoors and gardening at his home here in Danville. He also is an avid snow skier, bicyclist, and plays in a bocce ball league.
