About Mark C. Hutten, DDS

Dr. Hutten’s experience and knowledge extend far beyond the core dental disciplines. After receiving both a Master’s degree in Prosthodontics (the artificial replacement of teeth and other mouth/jaw structures) and his D.D.S. from Northwestern University Dental School, his postgraduate education included a fellowship in Oral Oncology and a General-Practice Residency, both at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Hutten is currently a member of the American College of Prosthodontists Board of Directors and currently serves as the Vice President of the College. Dr. Hutten’s patients also benefit from the vast knowledge he gains and shares as a teacher and administrator. He is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology in the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, and is Director of the General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Previously he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Restorative Dentistry at Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Hutten is a Fellow in the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, a Fellow in the International Team for Implantology, and belongs to several other major associations. He has been recognized by his peers with the American Association of Oral Pathologists Award, the Arm and Hammer Research Award, and other citations. However, he is most honored by the loyalty and trust he has earned from his many longstanding patients. The constant support of his family, has allowed Dr. Hutten to excel in his professional endeavors.
