About Marina Ambridge, DDS

I love good coffee and pizza! I have a funny husband and a lovely toddler. We love to travel and collect souvenir plates and cooking books from every city we visit – over 100 so far! I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, and I plan to decorate The Smile Institute with my own artwork. I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, one of the highest-ranked dental programs in the world. I was awarded the highest prize for academic excellence in preventive dentistry – proactive treatment to avoid cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more. Also, I received a prize for the best overall achievement in all four years of dental studies. As part of the team at The Smile Institute, my goal is to give patients a beautiful smile and healthy teeth by using advanced dental technology and techniques. That is why I chose to equip my dental practice with state-of-the-art dental chairs providing patients with massage function and special devices to significantly reduce pain from anesthetic injections. I also chose to go through a 2-year Master of Science degree program as well as 700 hours of additional post-graduate training, including a fellowship in orthodontics (braces) and implant dentistry. I am a certified Invisalign provider and I am trained in Botox & dermal fillers to provide my patients with the most holistic approach to facial beauty. I continue to advance my knowledge of the latest dental techniques every year by regularly attending conferences and advanced educational seminars. I am a member of several dental professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. I am on the board of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am also in the process of going through rigorous testing with all three of these major dental organizations to receive accreditation that I possess the skills to provide the most advanced cosmetic, implant and general dental procedures. I hope to apply my expertise to help you achieve excellent dental health!
