About Marc R. Boivin, DDS

Dr. Marc Boivin has lived in the St. Louis area since 1964. After graduating high school from Belleville East Dr. Boivin attended the University of Notre Dame and Creighton University. He graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 1984. Dr. Boivin opened Carondelet Park Dental Care at its present location in October of 1987. During 2002 Carondelet Park Dental Care doubled the amount of treatment space available. Dr. Boivin is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association and the Greatest Sr. Louis Dental Society. He is also a member of Top Docs. He has been married since 1980 and has two children. Experienced general dentist Dr. Marc Boivin currently runs a St. Louis-based practice, where he has treated patients for more than 25 years. At Carondelet Park Dental Care, Dr. Boivin offers children and adults the benefits of upgraded technology, as well as his commitment to adhering to the standards set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In addition, Dr. Marc Boivin runs his practice with a focus on preventive oral health care and on educating his patients about proper measures they can take to avoid periodontal disease. To prepare for his career as a dentist, Dr. Marc Boivin completed an extensive amount of formal education. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the University of Notre Dame, where he also ran cross-country and was a member of the Monogram Club before transferring to Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska. There, he graduated with honors and placed in the top 5 percent nationally on the first part of the national boards. This part of the test involved the prosthodontic section, which was comprised of partial dentures, dentures, crowns, and bridges. Dr. Marc Boivin stayed on at Creighton for his DDS, which he obtained in 1984. Since earning his advanced dental degree, Dr. Marc Boivin has continued to educate himself on the newest techniques and products available in dentistry by attending lectures and participating in an array of professional symposia. He holds memberships in groups such as Missouri Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Greater St. Louis Dental Society. Today, at his practice, Dr. Marc Boivin offers general procedures such as cleanings and polishings, as well as tooth extractions and root canals. Moreover, although he is not a prosthodontist, endodontist, periodontist, or oral and maxillofacial surgeon, his continuing training enables him to offer tooth whitening, implants, veneers, and a host of other cosmetic and restorative options.
