About Mara Dominguez, Aesthetician Specialist
Mara is the owner and founder of Lake Effect Spa in Lake Leelanau, Michigan. She is a 2015 graduate of St. Mary School in Lake Leelanau. After graduating, Mara continued her studies at Douglas J. Aveda in East Lansing, Michigan, graduating in 2016 with honors. She is a licensed esthetician who grew her knowledge and experience at a local resort’s spa before launching her own spa in lovely Lake Leelanau. Mara continues expanding her knowledge base through continuous education classes that enhance her knowledge of esthetic practices. Mara is extremely dedicated to producing high-quality services. She researched many product lines for a significant amount of time in order to ensure quality treatments with an organic base that carries high results. She fulfilled her high expectations in Dawn Lorraine, whose founder is a phone call away and has been extremely helpful and supportive. Mara’s passion includes improving and repairing skins natural appearance as well as encouraging relaxation and peace within. Leelanau County’s natural beauty and many awe-inspiring sights inspired the Lake Effect Spa name and ideals. Lake Effect Spa encourages awareness of natural beauty and the value of relaxation. Mara is a thoughtful, patient, well-versed individual whose passion shines through in every appointment. When she is not working, Mara can be found enjoying the outdoors with friends and family – whether it be boating in the summer or skiing in the winter.
