About Manoj M. Thakker, MD
Dr. Thakker is a board certified oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon specializing in cosmetic, plastic, and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and face. His many years of experience include faculty positions at Harvard Medical School and the University of Vermont. He has trained numerous residents and fellows, pursued academic research, and provided surgical care for patients from all over the country with complex conditions. He is the recipient of many awards, including the Merrill Reeh Pathology Award, presented by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS), the leading organization for oculofacial plastic surgeons. He has also been selected by his peers to be included in Best Doctors of America. Dr. Thakker has frequently contributed to the plastic surgery literature and he has published over 20 peer reviewed articles and book chapters in journals such as Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery and Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
