About Manisha Patel, DDS
Dr. Manisha Patel earned her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from University of Detroit, Mercy in 1991. She earned her BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) from state of Gujrat in India. After graduating, Dr. Patel worked as a general dentist at Government hospital in India and offered her services as a volunteer dentist in her hometown. Working at the general hospital, she treated a variety of patients with accidental trauma, different stages of oral cancer, teeth extraction cases, and assisted with dental surgeries. She started her professional career in the United States as an associate dentist before starting her practice at Square Lake Family Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Patel has been offering her services as a general dentist for the last 25 years in Troy. Although she keeps herself busy at the office and with her family, Dr. Patel also offers her services by volunteering in the community. She regularly speaks to elementary school students regarding dental hygiene and diet counseling. She has been treating patients at the Mission of Mercy camp in Michigan each year, since in 2013. Dr. Patel also volunteers with several other charitable organizations and free clinics. Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Michigan Dental Association (MDA), and the Oakland County Dental Society (OCDS).
