Born and raised in Poland, this is where esthetician Mandy Slusarczyk began her journey in esthetics. Her passion for skin care flourished upon her arrival in the United States where she continued her training. For many years Mandy worked and trained in such notable spas as Helena Rubenstein and Exhale, NYC, where she garnered an avid following of discerning clients. Being as discreet as she is, Mandy does not divulge names, however, many celebrities benefited from Mandy’s techniques prior to red carpet appearances. Today, with 25 years of experience, Mandy continues with her education at regular intervals throughout the year, keeping abreast of the ever-changing developments in skincare. Not only does she believe in educating herself but, just as importantly, Mandy firmly believes in educating her clients with regard to their skin, lifestyle and general well-being. Skin is personal for me, says Mandy, who prides herself in her long-term results oriented treatment of her clients’ skin. Customized treatments are de rigueur, tailoring the facial to suit the clients’ needs as they change. “The skin is always changing”, says Mandy, “so I must change my treatment to achieve the optimal results for the client”. Her philosophy is simple, when it comes to her work she relies on the adage, “You don’t work a day in your life, if you love what you do”. Mandy’s deepest felt satisfaction is when she can help clients who struggle with problematic skin such as acne, scars and the results of the aging process, to realize the full potential beauty of their skin. She is passionate in her belief that investing the time and resources in taking care of the skin is an investment that will last a lifetime.
