About Mahnaz Moussavi, DDS
Dr. Moussavi moved with her husband to Sacramento in 1991. She raised her 3 daughters in El Dorado Hills, who are all now pursing medicine. She has a passion for her work, and especially enjoys building long relationships with her patients and their families. She is a member of Sacramento Dental Society (SDS), California Dental Association, and American Dental Association. She has served as a member of the Peer Review Committee for SDS for 14 years. She also is committed to serving underserved communities through CDA Cares. Dr. Moussavi additionally trained in UCLA's Cosmetic Dentistry program and has provided cosmetic treatment to many of her patients since 1999. Dr. Moussavi also completed a General Practice Residency at University of Pittsburgh's Montefiore Hospital, with an emphasis in Oral Surgery. Thus, she is especially skilled in extracting impacted wisdom teeth, removing thousands of them thus far. Finally, Dr. Moussavi is certified to do Implant Surgery and Restorations from Nobel Biocare. She has restored many implants in her office. Dr. Moussavi prides herself on providing a very hygienic and comfortable environment to treat her patients.
