About Maggie T. Chao, DMD
Dr. Maggie T. Chao earned her DMD from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She then furthered her training at Harvard to sharpen her diagnostic and clinical skills with a residency in Prosthodontics. During her residency, she was awarded for her achievements in material science research and excellence in clinical care. Dr. Chao also earned a Master of Medical Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Chao is passionate about dentistry and delivering the highest quality care to all of her patients. She practices the full scope of prosthetic and esthetic dentistry—from veneers to dental implants, crowns, and bridges. She is an expert in full-mouth reconstructions including All-On-4/Teeth in a Day smile transformations. Born and raised in California, Dr. Chao completed her undergraduate studies at UC Berkeley before moving to Boston for dental school. Having returned to the Bay Area in 2002, Dr. Chao pursued her love for academia as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California at San Francisco. She took a sabbatical at the University to focus on her private practice and raising her children.
