About Luz A. Chavez, DDS
Dr. Luz Chavez completed her doctoral training at New York University College of Dentistry and was a member of Hispanic Dental Association during her studies. In addition to obtaining a degree in Dental Surgery from New York University, Dr. Chavez had already been granted a degree as a Doctor of Dental Surgery from El Salvador National University School of Dentistry in 1989. Dr. Chavez practiced Oral Surgery for many years with underserved population in El Salvador which is her country of origin. She continued her Orthodontic training with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and is a certified Doctor for Invisalign Orthodontic. Dr. Chavez started her dental practice in New York in 2003 and moved to North Carolina in 2010. Dr. Chavez based her practice philosophy in oral health education ,preventive procedures like Oral Cancer Screening to ensure healthy oral tissues and beautiful smiles for her patients. Her expertise spans a range of procedures including Cosmetic Dentistry, Fillings, Oral Surgery, Root Canals, Crowns and Bridges, Partials and Complete Dentures as well as Orthodontic ,Periodontal treatments and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. Dr. Chavez focus her practice not only on esthetic and functionality but on her patient’s oral health as a whole.
