Lucy is a licensed Cosmetologist in the state of Illinois and owner of Brows By Lucy Inc. She is an experienced eyebrow threader for over twelve years. Started her training with Reema Khan back in 2004, and continued working for nine years at North Riverside Park Mall for Salon Rupa, now known as Shapes Brow Bar. Four years ago she decided to go on her own and Brows By Lucy was created. For the past 10 years perfecting eyebrow threading was her only goal, but with so many years in the field she had come to experienced that there is so much more to learn and that eyebrow threading was just the beginning. Back in 2014, Lucy saw a post on Facebook about Microblading and got intrigued on the service. For ten years she had been removing brow hair to shape people's brows, but unfortunately she knows that not all of us grow a set of full brows that can be perfected by threading and shaping them to the clients needs and preferences. Her thoughts were that everyone should be able to have a full set of beautiful eyebrows and finding a solution had become her new goal. Microblading seem to be the answer, not only can she shape people's eyebrows by threading, but with micro-pigmentation, Lucy could be helping those clients with little to no hair and help them achieve their version of the ""perfect brows"" they've always wanted. Lucy soon decided to pursue training in this new technique of eyebrow shaping and in March, 2015 she took a Microblading class to learn how she could help those in need. Ever since then, Lucy became fascinated with this new concept of eyebrow shaping and as of today she have successfully completed 100 hours of basic training required by the SPCP standards specializing in all 3D eyebrow techniques, during that process she also exhibited the essential level of excellence as deemed necessary by APCA to qualify as an Intradermal Cosmetic Technician Specializing in 3D Eyebrows. Microblading will now allow her to dramatically correct or fully reconstruct lost eyebrows on those in need. Lucy has now opened a new location in Berwyn for both Eyebrow Threading and Permanent Cosmetic that is a Licensed Tattoo Establishment under the State of Illinois.
