About Lori A. Safar, DDS
Dr. Safar’s patients are her highest priority. Her office features state of the art technology, including the Biolase Laser, in order to make dental procedures as quick and painless as possible. When you are in Dr. Safar’s hands you feel safe, comfortable and secure. With over 30 years of dental experience she will create the smile of your dreams! She was born in Wisconsin and raised in Minnesota. She finished her undergraduate degree at St. Thomas University in St. Paul, Minnesota, and attended the University Minnesota School of Dentistry where she completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1988. After graduating dental school she became a commissioned officer of the United States Navy, and was first stationed in Memphis, Tennessee. Just before Desert Storm she was transferred to San Diego, where she fulfilled her obligation. Once in San Diego, Dr. Safar fell in love with Southern California and decided to settle down permanently. She and her husband have five children and live in Carmel Valley. Dr. Safar understands the importance of continuing her education. Since graduation, she has completed thousands of hours of study in order to keep updated and informed on current dental trends and technology. Providing exemplary dental care is Dr. Safar’s passion. She believes that a healthy mouth is a key component to having a healthy body.
