About Livia Stancu, DDS
Dr. Livia Stancu grew up in Romania where she completed her dental training with honors in 2001 at Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie , Facultatetes de Stomatologie Tg. Mures. After moving to U. S in 2004, she furthered her education by attending the IDEP program of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and in 2009 earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and got extensive training in different aspects of dentistry. She is been in private practice since and enjoys seeing both children and adults. Dr. Stancu’s professional motto is “Everybody deserves a beautiful smile.” Her focus is to provide comprehensive and quality dental care to all her patients and she supports minimally invasive and evidence based dentistry keeping up with her training by attending numerous continuing education courses nationally and internationally. Dr. Stancu attended an Implant Preceptorship while in dental school and also did a mission trip for implant placement in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in 2015. She is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry surgical extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges, dentures and Invisalign treatment. Dr. Stancu is very friendly and makes patients feel comfortable in stressful situations.She lives in Philadelphia with her husband Istvan and her son Kenzo.
