About Lisa Shifflet, Aesthetician Specialist
Lisa Shifflet, is the owner of The Pretty Parlour and has been a Licensed Esthetician & Microblading Artist since 2018. Before pursuing her dream of owning a small business and making others feel beautiful every day, Lisa attended San Diego State University before transferring to California State University Chico to finish her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and Pre-law. After nearly 15 years in both the legal field and in Pharmaceutical Sales, she took a leap of faith and enrolled in Esthetics school where she received her Esthetics license. Within one week of finishing Esthetics School, she set out on her next journey of becoming a certified Microblading Artist. Traveling out of state to learn under a renowned instructor and become proficient in both Microblading and Powder brow techniques. With a passion for learning and continuous growth, she has successfully completed numerous advanced education courses that include: Taking part in the inaugural LW Skin School class, becoming a Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist, Advanced Peel courses, Advanced Product knowledge courses, Alexandria Professional sugaring hair removal certification, Eyelash extension certification, Extensive Dermalogica product training, Ayur Medic product certification, Blood Borne Pathogen certification, Barbicide General and Barbicide Covid-19 Certification, Hoss Lee Academy Sanitation and Disinfection Certification, as well as numerous other advanced and continuing education classes that she is completing on an ongoing basis. Lisa is a self described perfectionist with an eye for detail and a passion for her work that always has her eager to grow and perfect her craft. She loves curating a space that speaks to your senses and feels lovely and welcoming when you visit. When she isn't in her studio transforming faces, she is spending time with her husband and is a mom to two handsome and rowdy boys that keep her busy and entertained.
