About Lisa Hwang, MD
A native of Los Gatos, Dr. Lisa Hwang returns to the Bay Area with stellar training and a passion for Aesthetic Surgery. After attending an accelerated BA/MD program at Lehigh/Drexel University, she completed a full General Surgery residency, postdoctoral research fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center, Plastic Surgery residency at University of Illinois in Chicago, as well as a dedicated Aesthetic Surgery fellowship. She is an active contributor to her specialty, having co-authored over 25 peer-reviewed articles and abstracts. Dr. Lisa Hwang is highly regarded not only as a meticulous and artistic clinician, but also for her kindness in demeanor. Patients find her to be an attentive listener focused on individualized care—she believes that a deep understanding of each patient’s desires, lifestyle, and expectations for surgery is critical in achieving the most natural and rewarding results. In her spare time, Lisa is a fitness, music, and fashion enthusiast. She is passionate about health, lifestyle, and beauty. Having moved across the country to fulfill extensive training, she draws from a wealth of personal experience to provide a unique and comprehensive perspective as your plastic surgeon.
