About Leslie Sugimoto, DDS
Dr. Les Sugimoto has committed his lifetime career to creating excellent oral health and optimum esthetics for his patients. He understands that not every patient has the same dental needs or desires, and includes his patients’ wishes in the formation of each individualized plan of treatment. Whether the treatment consists of a single tooth colored filling, a veneer, a crown, a bridge, implants or dentures, Dr. Sugimoto strives to provide the best possible outcome for each situation. Dr. Sugimoto was born and raised on the Monterey Peninsula. After completing his undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of California at Berkeley, he went on to obtain his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of California, San Francisco. He then moved to the Evergreen area of San Jose in the early 1980s, and opened his general dental practice with an emphasis on restorative and cosmetic dentistry. Creating beautiful smiles for his patients requires education, patience, practice and experience. Dr. Sugimoto excels in providing outstanding and comfortable dental care with his gentle demeanor and touch. He tirelessly supplements his dental education with countless classes on the latest advancements in restorative, cosmetic, and implant dentistry. His current affiliations include the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Santa Clara County Dental Society, the UCSF Alumni Association, Spear Education Study Club, and is recognized in top Dentists by his peers. In his free time, when he is not spending time with his wife, two sons and dog, you can find Dr. Sugimoto on the golf course or supporting the bay area sports teams.
