About Len Ciuffreda, DDS
Dr. Len Ciuffreda is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry (1995), where he attended under a full academic scholarship after earning his B.S. with honors in Biology from Bucknell University. He made Dean’s List all four years, graduating near the top of his class, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Ciuffreda was credentialed as a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management in 1999. The National Consumer Advisory Board has recognized Dr. Ciuffreda as one of “America’s Best Dentists” for cosmetic, implant and family dentistry. He has also received national recognition as one of “America’s Top Dentists” for general and cosmetic dentistry by the Consumers’ Research Council of America, and the distinctions of a “New Jersey Top Dentist” and “Monmouth Health and Life Top Dentist” for general dentistry. Dr. Ciuffreda is the recipient of numerous awards, including the David B. Kriser Award for Compassion, the ASDA Award of Excellence, the Pierre-Fauchard Award, the Arthur N. Caplin Award for Removable Prosthodontics, and the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Award. He has been honored by inductions into Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society and Phi Sigma, the Biological Research Society. His research has been published in the Journal of Clinical Dentistry. Maintaining active membership in the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Ciuffreda stays current with the latest advances in dentistry by consistently attending post-graduate dental courses and training. He regularly participates in the Forum for Advanced Dental Studies and holds certificates for completion of the Mid-Atlantic Dental Implant Prosthetic Series, the Golden Study Club Implant Series; and the NYU, UMDNJ, and Institute of Advanced TMJ Studies programs in TMJ & Orofacial Pain Disorders. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ciuffreda is very involved at Sayre Woods Bible Church, enjoys Civil War history, photography, astronomy, spending time with his family and friends, and is a huge Snoopy / Peanuts fan.
