About Lawrence Moy

Manhattan Beach dermatologist Lawrence Moy, MD, has more than 25 years’ experience in general dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, dermatological surgery, and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers. His expertise includes pediatric, adolescent, and adult dermatology. A researcher and consultant on all aspects of skin care and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Moy is a sought-after speaker who has delivered local, regional, and national invited presentations concerning treatments to manage and resolve complex skin problems such as skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, and acne, among others. With an in depth understanding of facial anatomy and all skin types, Dr. Moy is adept at cosmetic dermatological techniques to help improve the quality and appearance of the skin and face. An inventor on the leading edge of skin care, Dr. Moy has developed and patented new products to reduce the appearance of stretch marks and wrinkles as well as treat psoriasis and vitiligo. He has conducted and published research that highlights the novel uses for and benefits of chemical peels and lasers. He has participated in Food and Drug Administration (FDA) studies for which he has presented data to fellow surgeons and dermatologists. Dr. Moy earned his BS in biological sciences at the University of California in Riverside, and he earned his MD at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. After graduating, he completed his internship and residency in dermatology at UCLA. Dr. Moy is Board Certified by The American Board of Dermatology.
