About Laurie A. Stanell, DMD

Dr. Stanell is a cosmetic and family oriented dentist who practices Comprehensive dentistry including Cosmetic, Invasilign, Root Canals, Crowns, Veneers, Laser Dentistry, and the treatment of TMJ Disorders. She has been in private practice since 1988. Growing up in Bucks County, she graduated from Neshaminy High school in 1975. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University and her degree from Temple University School of Dentistry is a D.M.D. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Academy of Laser Dentistry. She continually educates herself and her team to provide the most advanced dental care possible for her patients. She was a recipient of Phi Sigma Honor Society in Biology while at Penn State and received fellowship in Oral Cancer Surgery at Temple University Hospital while attending dental school. Dr. Stanell graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree in 1985 from Temple University School of Dentistry. She has been practicing general dentistry since then and dental sleep medicine at her office since the beginning of 2018. Dr. Stanell is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), the only non-profit professional association dedicated exclusively to the practice of dental sleep medicine. Dr.Stanell helps treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy, an effective treatment that is covered by most insurance plans. AADSM membership provides Dr.*Stanell*with access to educational resources and practice management tools that help her better serve her patients by providing the highest quality of care in the treatment of snoring and obstructive sleep apnea. For more information about AADSMDr. Stanell lives in Pipersville with her husband, Terry. Her daughter, Kendall graduated from Penn State University in 2010 with Bachelor Degrees in Psychology and Arts. She then achieved her Master of Expressive Therapies with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling and Dance Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge Massachusetts . Kendall is currently employed at Foundations in Doylestown as lead therapist. Her son TJ studied Information Science Technology at Penn State. He is currently employed at Analytical Laboratories in Chalfont.In her free time Dr. Stanell enjoys exercising, cooking, reading and traveling the world. In the summer she spends her weekends swimming, fishing, and crabbing on the family boat in Rock Hall Maryland on the Chesapeake.
