About Lauren A. Penn, MD
Dr. Penn is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. She received her bachelor degree in nutritional sciences from the University of Florida and went on to complete her medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She completed an internship in internal medicine and her residency in dermatology at New York University School of Medicine. She also completed a post-doctoral Melanoma Translational Research Fellowship at New York University Langone Medical Center. Dr. Penn has a special interest in caring for people who have atypical moles or a large number of moles and those at risk for developing melanoma and other skin cancers. Most recently, she was a Fellow in dermatopathology at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Penn is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the International Dermoscopy Society and the American Society of Dermatopathology.
