About Lauren M. Pearce, DDS
Dr. Lauren Mell Pearce is a Chicago Native and a recent transplant to Los Angeles. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from The Ohio State University and continued her education at OSU's College of Dentistry where she earned multiple scholarships and participated in clinical research. After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry cum laude, Lauren completed the prestigious general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. The residency was an intensive one-year training program including surgical training and the opportunity to perform complex restorative and prosthodontics procedures. She also gained experience in treating patients with complicated medical histories. She grew a successful private practice in the vibrant Lincoln Park community on Chicago’s near North side. When not building her own practice, Dr. Pearce volunteered her time providing dental care at the Infant Welfare Society in Chicago and participated in a dental mission trip to Guatemala. Her passion is providing ethical, patient centered care. This practice philosophy was an ideal match with WLA’s biomimetic approach, which emphasizes conservation of tooth structure and prevention of dental disease.
