About Lauren Ming, DDS

Dr. Lauren Ming grew up in Los Angeles and attended Loyola Marymount University, where she was on the rowing team and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Biology. After a time of living the island life in Hawaii, she attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. While at LSU, she received the Dental Lifeline Network Award which recognizes a dental student committed to volunteerism & helping people with special needs. After graduation, Dr. Ming moved to Chicago to pursue a General Practice Residency, which provided her with advanced training in areas of dentistry such as pediatrics, wisdom teeth extraction, Invisalign, implant placement, and treatment of medically compromised patients. Dr. Ming is a compassionate dentist who strives to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She loves getting to know her patients and their concerns, and treats them as she would her own family. She is passionate about educating patients and emphasizes preventative medicine -- in other words, empowering her patients to take minor steps in their healthy oral habits to minimize the need for major treatment of worsened problems. She believes that helping a patient improve and maintain their smile enhances their life and improves the confidence to achieve their dreams! During her spare time, Dr. Ming enjoys cooking, exercising, playing with her black lab Brody, and exploring all that Chicago's neighborhoods and suburbs have to offer!
