About Lauren Kinsey, Aesthetician Specialist

Lauren Kinsey is a young woman with a servant’s heart and a lot of love to give. She discovered her passion for helping others at a young age and that passion led her to pursue a license in esthetics. She attended the Aveda Instutute in 2009, studying Ayurvedic Esthetics, a more rounded mind-body-spirit approach to skin care and beauty. After 2 years in the field, Lauren decided she wished to expand her scope of practice and went back to school for massage therapy at Texas School of Massage. Being a dual licensed therapist has helped Lauren to bring more deep tissue and muscle specific massage into her practice allowing her to have a more rounded approach. Lauren began interning at Gritman Essential Oils in Friendswood, TX in 2012 and is learning all she can about Essential oils and their broad scope of uses. At the turn of the new year 2013, she met Ken Newby and found a home for her practice working at Relatation Retreat in Webster, Texas, learning all she could from his broad depth of knowledge. At the end of 2014, Lauren decided to take the next step and branch out on her own. It was at that point that BodyWork fusion was born. Lauren feels that she has a great deal to give and is excited about this next step and where it will take her. Lauren’s mission is to serve others by helping with pain relief, relaxation, stress relief, and helping them discover the beauty within. She believes the body has the innate ability to heal itself and does her best to help each client achieve such results. She specializes in Customized Therapeutic Massage, Aromatherapy and Energy Work.
