About Laura E. Harness, DDS
Laura Harness received her DDS degree in 2014 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Previously, she attended the University of Michigan College of LS&A and received her BS degree in Neuroscience in 2008. She received advanced dental training in a hospital-based dental clinic during her residency program at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Through this program, she gained additional experience in oral surgery, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, root canal therapy, and special needs patients. Dr. Harness performs all facets of general dentistry including crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, fillings, periodontal (gum disease) therapy, implant restorations, extractions, dentures, and partials. Dr. Harness’ personal philosophy is to provide comprehensive dental care for all her patients, and strives to make each visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Dr. Harness is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Special Care Dentistry Association. She is involved in professional organizations and study clubs because she understands the importance of keeping up with the latest research and most advanced dental practices and techniques.
