About Laura Fisher, DDS
Dr. Laura Fisher grew up in Bountiful, Utah as one of eight children. She had the dream of becoming a dentist from the time she was very young. When asked why she wanted to be a dentist, she has always responded, ""I love teeth!"" She attended Southern Utah University, where she completed a Bachelor in Chemistry, graduating magna cum laude, in 2009. Dr. Fisher earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio. She was the recipient of the prestigious 2013 Eleanor J. Bushee Memorial Award given by the American Association of Women Dentists. This award is given each year to an outstanding female dental student for her academic excellence and outstanding leadership in the field of dentistry. Providing her patients with superior dental procedures has always been a goal of Dr. Fisher and she works hard to make sure this is accomplished. She enjoys connecting with and developing lasting relationships with her patients. She also enjoys being involved in service and community events. Dr. Fisher has been happily married since August 2008, and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in her third year of dental school. She enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and little dog.
