About Lara A. Regis, DDS
Dr. Lara Regis is a third generation dentist continuing the tradition of compassion, integrity and excellence in dentistry. Dr. Regis has first received her dental degree in Brazil and started practicing dentistry in 1999. As part of her post-graduation education, she completed advanced training in oral surgery, prosthodontics and received her specialty degree in periodontics from University of São Paulo in 2001. After closing her private practice in Brazil and moving to Chicago, she joined a Master of Oral Sciences program at the University of Illinois at Chicago conducting research in the Periodontics Department on stress-induced disruption of inflammatory responses and wound healing. Dr. Regis received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree with honors from UIC in 2008. She was a recipient of multiple awards for her dedication to the patients and clinical achievements. During her years in Illinois, she enjoyed working as an associate dentist in an aspiring, family owned practice in Crystal Lake - a charming suburb of Chicago. In 2010 she moved to Houston and in 2012 became the principal dentist of her own office allowing her to create an environment where patients can receive dental care based on upstanding professional standards and experience. Dr. Regis is honored to be a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society.
