I recieved my esthetics licence in 2005 after deciding to leave the corporate world. My sister has been an esthetician for over 20 years and her work day seemed so fun and rewarding. I loved the idea of building relationships with people while helping them to feel better about themselves (through beautiful glowing skin). After all...it's because of her I stopped using chemical sunscreens on my skin, started using anti-aging serums and in general reversing the damage I had accumulated from years of ignorance and neglect. My mom and sister :) I'm a true believer that taking care of your skin works...even if you start late like I did! I didn't grow up taking care of my skin. I loved the sun and we grew up with a tanning bed IN our house (I'm not joking). We also had a swimming pool and spent summers at the lake (Minnesota is home of over 10,000 lakes!) In addition....I went to sunny Arizona for college (we had a pool there too). Yep...I've had my share of sun damage!
