About Kortney D. Hightower, MD
Kortney D. Hightower, M.D. graduated Cum Laude from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Omega Chi & Phi Lambda Upsilon honor societies. He received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama in 2003. He was the recipient of the Dean’s Award, Outstanding Student in the Anatomical Sciences, Charles M. Baugh Award for Medical Biochemistry, Medical Alumni Leadership Award & the Charles W. Urschel Achievement Award in Physiology. Dr. Hightower completed his Internship & Dermatology Residency at the University of South Florida. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery and the Florida Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Hightower’s proudest accomplishment is his family. He and his wife, Amy, were married in 1998 and have two beautiful sons, Phillip & Arthur.
