About Khaled Shabany, DMD
Dr. Shabany completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biology at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He received his dental training at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he completed three years of post-graduate studies at Northwestern University Dental School - Graduate Periodontics Program in Chicago, Illinois. While at Northwestern, Dr. Shabany served as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics. He has been engaged in clinical practice as well as teaching since completing his postgraduate program. He was an Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for several years, and was involved at undergraduate and graduate levels. Dr. Shabany is committed to continuing education and attends many meetings and seminars every year. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The Missouri Dental Association and the Greater St. Louis Dental Society. He is also involved in the Maryland Heights Chamber of Commerce. On a personal level, Dr. Shabany is the proud father to his only son. He enjoys cycling, car racing and performance, as well as motorcycle riding.
