Dr. El-Hoshy took his Board Certification by the American Board of Dermatology in 1996. Dr. El-Hoshy is a fellow Member in the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Mohs Surgery, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. He is also a Member in the Michigan State Medical Society and Wayne County Medical Society. Dr. El-Hoshy did a one year clinical research & a two-year Dermatological Surgery Fellowships at Duke University Medical Center. He specializes in Skin Rejuvenation and has extensive experience in different cosmetic procedures such as: the Featherlift, Mesotherapy, Chemical Peeling, Botox, Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, Collagen, Laser Procedures, Liposuction, Hair Transplants and Sclerotherapy. He is Mohs-Surgery trained for treatment of skin cancers. Dr. El-Hoshy is one of a handful of USA physicians having special expertise in advanced botox techniques for the neck & around the mouth areas. He is internationally recognized as an instructor in Botox, Restylane, & Juvederm injection techniques for beginner & advanced injectors. Dr. El-Hoshy attends at least one medical meeting a year in Europe [in addition to 1 or 2 meetings in USA], to keep abreast of all the advances in the cosmetic & laser surgery not just in USA, but all over the world.
