About Kevin P. Cavanaugh, MD

Dr. Kevin Cavanaugh is a premier medical and cosmetic dermatologist in Chicago, Illinois at the Center for Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine. Dr. Cavanaugh has extensive educational experience in both internal medicine and dermatology. He graduated magna cum laude from Boston College with a degree in English. He then received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed post-graduate training as an internal medicine resident at the University of Chicago, and holds board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Following his internal medicine training, he completed a dermatology residency at the University of Arizona Medical Center, where he was selected to serve as chief resident. Dr. Cavanaugh is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and double board certified in internal medicine and dermatology Dr. Cavanaugh has presented both locally and regionally at medical dermatology conferences, and has published articles in a number of national journals. He is a member of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology. In addition to his interest in medical dermatology, Dr. Cavanaugh is passionate about aesthetics, and is proud to offer the most innovative techniques in cosmetic dermatology.
