About Kevin Bond, DDS

Southpark Oral Surgery is an exceptional oral surgery practice serving the SouthPark business district and community. Dr. Kevin Bond, who is a North Carolina native, opened the practice to provide area dentists and patients with more comprehensive and convenient service. Dr. Bond performs dental implant surgery, corrective maxillofacial jaw surgery to treat dental/jaw misalignment and irregularities, cosmetic surgery, cleft lip and palate, TMJ, trauma injuries, and wisdom teeth. Dr. Bond has vast experience in the art of intravenous and general anesthesia techniques. When you have a professional with expert training perform a procedure, you have a better experience in terms of ultimate safety, comfort and results, says Dr. Bond, who completed his dental training at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and surgical residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospitals. Dr. Bond’s goal with each surgery is to restore function, improve health, and maximize aesthetics. The surgeon, who trained extensively with internationally recognized physicians, also served as an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery while at VCU. Teaching others made me a better surgeon. I had to thoroughly consider each process and procedure, says Dr. Bond. I have a passion for teaching and mission work. Dr. Bond travels to Jamaica, Honduras, and Peru to provide volunteer dental and surgical services to patients in need while also teaching local professionals surgical techniques. The reward is seeing the transformed smile of a child, Dr. Bond says. I feel like this is what I’ve been made to do.
