About Kerry E. Owens, MD
Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery since 2002, Dr. Kerry Owens has many years of experience and training to offer our Baltimore area plastic surgery patients. Born in Baltimore, Dr. Owens became a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio). She went on to obtain her medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed the comprehensive general surgery and plastic surgery residencies there. Dr. Owens was awarded the Carey Award in Surgery and the Resident Research Award from the Ohio State University Department of Surgery during her time at the Ohio State University before returning to Baltimore to join the practice in 2001. Dr. Owens is currently an attending staff member at Saint Agnes Hospital, where she is involved in the education of surgical residents both there and at the University of Maryland. She is also on staff at Howard County General Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. Her interests include breast surgery and body contouring as well as a wide variety of skin care and less invasive rejuvenation techniques. Dr. Owens lives in Catonsville with her husband, Dr. Vic Madrid, and their three young children.
