About Kenneth M. Greenberg, DDS
Dr. Kenneth Greenberg DDS was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating high school as a multi-sport athlete and honor student, he attended Emory University in Atlanta and Florida State University in Tallahassee where he graduated with honors and a degree in Political Science and Government. After an opportunity to work and train at the University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute on the corneal transplant team, and having considered pursuing other careers including medicine and law, he decided he could best serve others in the practice of dentistry. Even as a youth, he enjoyed using his hands to create, build, or repair just about anything he could. In fact, a long time patient writes in a Yahoo review: “ He is dedicated, a TOTAL perfectionist, does fabulous work, goes out of his way, and does not ever give up on any situation, he is truly the Mac Gyver of Dentists “. After college, he was selected to attend the prestigious N.Y.U. College of Dentistry in Manhattan, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class with a D.D.S. degree. The dental school curriculum included rotations at Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Hospital, and the Brooklyn V.A. Hospital. He also completed additional coursework and studies in implantology and had the opportunity to work with the Medical Examiner of New York in the study of Forensic Dentistry. The rigorous studies prepared him for the next 2 years as an officer in the National Health Service Corps. There he was assigned to treat a rural population with multiple and complex dental and medical conditions and very limited access to health care in a trailer home equipped to provide needed services. Dr. Greenberg opened his current dental practice in Odessa, Florida with Dr. Nancy Freibaum in 1988. Despite the significant increase in corporate dental offices and health practitioners who are rushed and impersonal, our doctors are committed to treating each patient as an individual, one at a time. The doctor resides in Tampa, Florida with his wife Nancy and sons Eric and Justin. He enjoys sports and weight lifting and is a football and weightlifting coach at both the youth league and high school levels. Having also served as a Cub Scout Pack leader, the doctor enjoys helping today’s young men to develop and succeed in life.. The practice continues to focus on comprehensive and compassionate dental care for all ages and has also treated thousands of dental and trauma related emergencies. Dr. Greenberg has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education hours in multiple disciplines including lasers, implants, and TMJ therapy with respected educators and leaders in Dentistry. He is proud and thankful for his ability to provide his patients with a high level of dignified care.
